After leaving St. Augustine, we headed to Winter Haven, FL, and the Cypress Campground & RV Park that was only a very few miles from Clint, Barbara & Allison\u2019s homes (Judith\u2019s sister, brother-in-law, and niece).\u00a0 Her brother, Don, also flew in & spent a few days with the family.\u00a0 Good family times, recounting the old family stories, eating well, laughing lots, and enjoying one another\u2019s company.<\/p>\n

We found that Sandhill Cranes like Winter Haven.\u00a0 Both our campground and the area around Barb & Clint\u2019s house had many of these impressive birds wandering about as local residents.<\/p>\n

Then the following week we took Lucy (our trailer) to the Camping World in Panama City, FL, for some minor work while we went on to Destin to visit with Judith\u2019s long-time friend, Fran. Walking on the beach, looking at the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico, eating, and a few games of \u201cSettlers of Catan\u201d occupied most of our time in Destin.\u00a0 It\u2019s a \u201ctough life\u201d!<\/p>\n
